Mediation: Achieve Peaceful Resolutions

Mediation involves a structured out-of-court meeting facilitated by a neutral moderator. All discussions during mediation are confidential, ensuring that what is said remains private and is not disclosed to the court. The only conversation to the court is the notification that the case is successfully mediated or the parties were not able to arrive at an agreement.

Conciliation: A Comprehensive Approach

Conciliation closely resembles mediation, but with a key difference: discussions are not confidential. This allows me as a conciliator to provide direct communication and possible reports to the court, which can enhance transparency and efficiency in your dispute resolution process. Once parties understand this approach, it often becomes the preferred method for resolution, allowing you to get “more bang for your buck.” At Jensen Conciliation, I predominantly utilize this method to facilitate resolutions.
